Senior Customer Services/Logistic Executive (electronics distribution company)

Reporting to: Manager – Operations
Job Description
Responsible for daily logistics operations, including international sea freight, air freight, local transportation and warehousing issues etc.
Prepare full set of imports and exports documentation and follow up all transports and courier delivery arrangements.
Negotiate spot freight rate quotes, logistic cost estimation, mode selection with 3PL.
Keep all the Logistics and customs related papers in a secured and organized manner
Ensure all shipping related data being updated in the SAP system;
Resolve billing issues with internal departments and customers
Prepare monthly stock forecast for stock replenishment
Co-ordination Point between India Operations / BU Team and SG Operations / WH
Team Qualifications
Diploma or above in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or other related disciplines.
5+ years logistics experience, ideally with working experience in distribution industry
Familiar with logistic operations and knowledge in international trade compliance, Import/Export licenses and Singapore customs regulations
SAP-MM application experience is highly preferred
Self-motivated, good interpersonal and communication skills, and ability in working offshore office under minimal supervision
Flexibility of working hours due to time zone of India and Singapore offices
Excellent command of English; Indian language is added advantage but not a must
Travel to India is necessary.
