• Act as 2nd in command to overall GNOC manager
• Manage a team of Shift Operations Managers AND Network Operations Engineers
• Coach and mentor support team members
• plan and managed service improvement plans
• ensure KPI of NOC are met. including support resource skills equipping, Operational efficiency , customer experience
• Constantly review and improve operational efficiency of support model
• Overall incident management
• Escalation management for issues arising that require bridging gaps with internal and external stakeholders so as to resolve issues in a timely manner
• Mentor Shift Operation Managers in NOC team

REQUIREMENTS

• Good degree in IT, Engineering or Computer science.
• At least 8 years of experience in the IT/Telco industry
• Should possess at least 4 years of experience working for an ISP/Large Enterprise. Good to have telecommunications background, knowledge of Service Providers and Telecommunications carrier Networks.
• Strong people management skills in managing mid-to-large team
• Srong understanding of routing protocols like OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP, MPLS, TE, QoS. Possess good level of knowledge, working experience in Internetworking, IP routing protocols and troubleshooting for MPLS/IP VPN based networks.
• Possess industry standard certifications such as CCNA/CCNP/CCIP/JNCIA/JNCIP/JNCIS and CCIE certification will be added advantage for this position.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of Managed Services and hands on experience on LAN/WAN technologies..
• Knowledge of Layer 2 Technologies: Good knowledge of Switching technologies like VLAN's, HSRP, Devices: Juniper, Cisco routers & switches, Huawei switches,
• Customer oriented and be able to handle difficult situations.
