Regional Technology Manager (strategies in support ops)

Our client is a global business process outsourcing services and solutions organisation.
This ROLE seeks to
provide leadership in the development, deployment and maintenance of
technology strategy, standards and support so as to aid the service delivery organisation (SDO) in their global delivery strategies for MNC outsourcing clients
- Development,
communication and execution of the company Regional Technology
Strategy, implemented including;
Evaluation and adoption of Emerging
technologies so as to achieve productivity benefits to the company support processes
Architecture
design, development & build
Enhancement,
optimization, integration, and scaling up of existing
system environments
Infrastructure
refresh , new technology deployments
Data
centre and server consolidations & optimization
- Development,
communication and execution of the company's Regional Technology
Standards. Architecture and development standards are adhered to
through audits and change control process.
- Development
and compliance to Security and Certification plans
- Manage
the regional technology support team, providing;
Issues
escalation
Release
Management
Administrative
support
Training
Technology
analysis support
to
a range of stakeholders.
Requirements
. 8-10+ IT experience
. Knowledge of and experience in business analysis, business consulting, project methodologies and management.
. 3+ in Technology Strategy development
. 3+ years experience development of architecture for multi-technology integration taking into consideration Application/Workflow, Framework, Middleware, Web servers, Database, Networks and Hardware
. Track record in working with staff and client personnel in the implementation and use of architectures, standards and guidelines for the specification and management of external stakeholder environments
. Policy and Procedure development
. Previous experience managing projects and virtual teams
. Bachelors level qualification in Information Management, Computer Science or related disciplines
.
Strong Regional Support Operations Implementation, Enhancement and Management experience
. IT
Architecture certification
. ITIL, Security Certified
. Asia including Japan experience
