Snr Account Manager (managed LAN/WAN services)

Head of Sales, Singapore
Responsibilities:

This is a Singapore-based role selling to MNC customers either based in Singapore or with buying scope in Singapore. Role may also include support of customers outside of Singapore through the global account program. Minimal travel requirement

To manage and sell more services to existing customers
To make sales into new TML (Target Market List) customers -
Establish and maintaining strong relationship with customer through close contact and account management : regular face to face meeting, telephone contact and email communication.

Accurately forecasting sales opportunities and revenue expectations in regular sales meetings

Creating business plans and account strategies form managing the accounts for our client's Business Services Senior Management upon request

Closely work with our client's global sales team, joint sales efforts to win more new business from key MNCs

Produce an account development plan and update it regularly. The plan should direct our client's strategy and tactics in the account and should be the driver document in growing the revenue

Exceeding sales targets by developing relationships with overseas account team, and coordinated selling into the same customers within the APA region

Working an ongoing funnel of at least $10M in various our client's business solutions

Negotiating complex contractual terms and conditions with customers, with the help of our client's legal & commercial teams

Manage all aspects of the customer relationship, including but not limited to, sales orders, moves, adds, changes, billing, implementation, service issues, SLA's, and contractual terms

Interfacing with other functions and corporate departments including business support, commercial management, regional operations, engineering, project management, vendors, product marketing, international regulatory affairs, and finance

Developing proposals from a portfolio of solutions, where appropriate, from central RFP group, engineering, and/or operations

Staying abreast of new our client's Business Services technologies, Service Portfolio, and market trends
Skills/Experience/Qualifications:
-
Degree/Diploma, preferably in the technical areas of Electrical Engineering or Computer Science

At least 5 years of proven track record in sales and/or business development in the telecommunications, systems integration, or outsourcing industry

At least 5 years of working experience in Singapore, and preferably 2 years of working experience in the region (SEA, Asia-Pacific)

Has the knowledge for ICT business needs in various industries

Has the experience with applying consultative/solution selling methodologies with managed services in a multinational environment

Strong background in account planning, proposal creation and delivery, combined with proactive customer management skills
-
Has excellent coordination skills on managing global account opportunities by organizing and coordinating sales efforts in non-headquarters remote regions of the world to ensure a single team approach to the customer

Preferrably Cisco CSE, or Microsoft MCSE Certified (Avaya, Nortel etc will be taken into consideration)

Demonstrable experience with consultative/solution selling methodologies with managed services in a multinational environment

Demonstratable negotiating and closing skills

Ability to multi-task, working with many customer prospects while focusing on new sales and customer satisfaction

Organized and detail oriented with excellent time management skills
-
Excellent communication capabilities including interpersonal, oral, written, telephone, and presentation skills in English
