Account Manager Asia Pacific (New Business & Existing Accounts)




 

Our Client is a global hybrid virtual network operator providing business-grade wholesale (indirect) telecommunication services. By combining our own network facilities with the technology and expertise of local market leaders, Our Client is able to offer customers a unique portfolio of services in more than 200 countries. Our customers (channel partners) are typically international carriers, system integrators and telecom operators.  
 

Place in the organisation  
 
The Account Manager works as a member of the department Marketing and Sales and reports directly to the director of Marketing and Sales.  

Job profile  
 
You will be responsible for channel development, order intake, revenue and margin growth through intensive contact with the channel partners in such manner that our Client is seen as a reliable, skilled, high service Hybrid Virtual Network Operator.  Main activities will be:  
 
 
1.  Effectuating commercial targets by coaching the channel partners.  
2.  Expanding the revenue and hit rate of quotes and increasing the level of satisfaction by intensive channel partner management.  
3.  Promoting our Client by organising commercial events, company presentations, workshops and more  
4.  To close control, maintain and expand Master Service Agreements.  
5.  Making cross- en up selling possible.  
6.  Negotiating about terms and conditions according to commercial standards.  
7.  Gearing and implementing all relevant processes of both companies, like purchase, sales, providing and support)  
8.  Coaching and advising the client by making promotions material of the products, sales training, etc for making an excellent introduction of Our Client's services.  
9.  Identify and report market developments (technology, products, services and prospects)  
10.  Report monthly about own taken commercial initiatives (visits, etc), and achievements against targets.  
11.  Making of sales plans.

Your Profile  
 
1.  University degree in a business related field or equivalent and proven track record, MBA is highly desirable  
2.  Result driven, persistent, quality driven and a strong commercial sense.  
3.  Minimum of 5 years account management experience in the Telecommunications industry.  
4.  Must have good understanding of wholesale / indirect market within the Telecommunications industry  
5.  Knowledge of data / IP services and knowledge of underlying network and access technologies (e.g. MPLS, Ethernet, IPSec) is highly desirable  
6.  Strong motivational, innovative, and interpersonal skills.  
7.  Keep up to date with market trends and new developments utilizing information for business improvement.  
8.  Ability to discuss strategic and sensitive issues.  
9.  Make strategic decisions.  
10.  No 9-to-6 mentality
