Technical Solution Consultant (Network OSS)

Actively develop
and drive non-standard technical WAN/ Mobile solutions in collaboration with
engineering teams, vendors or business partners to support Solutions Managers in
their RFP/ proposal.
Develop cost
effective, resilient, innovative and reliable non-standard WAN/ Mobile solutions
to win proposals and bids/ tender.
Provide
effective Product consultation services to our Solutions
Managers to aid them in responding to customer queries. Actively highlight new
workable solutions and any potential problems to Solutions Managers on an
ongoing basis.
Lead and
ensure
successful Proof of Concept within timeline. Work with customer on the Scope of
Work and deliverables.
Consolidate and
feedback to Product House to propose product
improvements or enhancements on a quarterly basis.
Conduct
presentations on proposed non-standard solutions and new technology to customers
Support
IP and
Mobile marketing Road-shows as technical speaker and provide advice on network requirements
Ensure high
quality documentation for assigned projects
Build up BSC
Proof Of Concept Lab capability by continually enhance it with new
services required for customer Proof Of Concept.
Build
productivity tools to aid Solutions
Manager in their pre-sales engagements.
To conduct
training on Our client'sl services and sharing session in technology/ trends/
case study/ new workable solutions/ potential problems to Solutions
Managers in the area of expertise.
Update the SC
website
in a timeline manner and continue to improve on the website contents.
Perform any
other duties as assigned and required.
Requirements
•
Have experience in pre-sales /consulting environment.
•
Degree in Telecommunications/ Electrical/ Electronics/ Computer Science or
equivalent qualifications with at least 3 years of experience in a Technical
position in the Communications / Network or Information Technology related
industry.
•
CCNA certification would be required. CCNP / CCIP certification is preferred.
•
Knowledge in Telecommunications technology and services at least one in the
other category:
0. LAN/WAN – Routers, switches, IP, Internet, LAN/WAN OSS1. Mobile and Wireless - 3G, Blackberry, Wireless, Wimax2. Voice and Video - VoIP, IP PBX, Video conferencing3. VAS – Security, SIEM, WAN Optimisation, Load-balancers, Proxy
•
Knowledge in our client's infrastructure and services will be an advantage.
•
Demonstrates drive, confidence, risk taking and good customer handling skills.
•
Other skills include: teamwork, interpersonal, initiative, creativity,
leadership, written and oral communication skills and excellent presentation.
