specializing on outsourcing/out-tasking IT services  (Remote Network Mangement Services)

Develop a profitable and sustainable IT services Outsourcing/Out-tasking practice based on ITIL within Network Management, Microsoft, Security and Converged Communications Solutions Group.
Responsible for building our client’s Services Team MS and PS practice by developing long-term, sustainable relationships with our client's customers in the form of managed service contracts.
Support local engagement, management and maintenance of existing our client's Services offerings including pre-sales and sales activities.

A minimum of 10 years experience in a technical role involving IT systems hardware and software, at least 4 years in data communications and preferably some supervisory experience.

Essential Skills
Sound appreciation of business and its various functions, particularly strategic planning issues.
Thorough understanding of the principles of data communications technology 
Thorough understanding of the major systems architectures in current use
Strong product and technical knowledge of the our client's solutions, services and of products
Solid practical experience in consulting principles
Sound understanding of systems analysis and design, principles and tools
Sound understanding of network management principles and tools
General understanding of project management principles
General understanding of customer services principles
Good understanding of principles of technical writing  
Knowledge of operating systems, terminal emulation, file transfer and browser programmes, office software and solution applications
Understanding of supervisory principles especially planning, team building and performance management and improvement.
Good understanding of  Network Management Technologies CA, BMC, IT Service Model and ITIL.
Or a good understanding of Network Optimization Technologies such as F5, Packeteer, Riverbed, Bluecoat cisco WAAS.
Good presentation skills and possess proven capabilities in solution and consultative selling in the IT and business solutions
Good understanding of Networking Concepts - LAN/WAN, VLANs, Routing, Networking etc
Basic Security concepts - issues and integration concepts

To be passionate about the services being offered.
Must be business savvy and be able to fine tune services based on Market needs

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Conflict Management
Excellent interpersonal skills - be able to interface with Senior IT Management staff at customers.

Educational Qualification
Good tertiary education in software engineering and computer technologies.  Advanced skills relating to Services Consulting will be preferred.

Up to 130K pa (OTE)
