SECURITY CONSULTANT 


ROLE SUMMARY 

The Security Consultant is an operational role delivering our client's security consulting solutions under the Security Services practice. He shall leverage on all solutions and resources to exceed customer value expectations, maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure that all projects are delivered to the satisfaction of the client. 

SCOPE OF ROLE 
1.  Be responsible as a team member in performing core our client's security consulting services, including risk assessments, security audits, network vulnerability assessments and security penetration tests. 
2.  Be responsible for conducting security assessments and maintaining technical proficiency, sharing knowledge throughout the firm
through tool development, template enhancements and methodology enhancements. 
3.  Increase customer perception and loyalty whilst ensuring great service delivery. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITY 
1.  Assist project managers in ensuring service delivery for our client's Security customers. 


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES

1.  Able to travel up to 50% on a monthly basis 
2.  Understanding of information risk management and IT security terms and services 

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & WORKING EXPERIENCE 
1.  Ordinarily Certificate in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a Degree standard. 
2.  CISSP/CISA/CISM certification helpful but not required. 
3.  At least 4 years relevant information security experience. 
4.  Strong consulting skills. 
5.  Strong security penetration testing skills and experience. 
6.  Knowledge of government regulations governing information security (HIPAA, GLBA, SOX etc.). 
7.  Knowledge of risk management frameworks and security best practice guidelines (ISO 17799, COSO, COBIT, OCTAVE, etc. are desirable.
