Product Marketing Manager (managed services)

Responsibilities:
  • Develop product go-to-market programs to achieve overall revenue targets and market share goals for assigned products.
  • Work with Product Managers to strategize product positioning and communicate the product positioning and unique selling points to the market.
  • To identify opportunities for new services in the market by understanding the market dynamics, technology evolution and our customer’s business challenges.
  • Increase product/scheme awareness and generate leads via various modes such as marketing campaigns, product seminars and other publicity platforms.
  • Develop product literature such as brochures, sales kits, internet website, user guides and promotion mailers to facilitate sales.
  • Develop benchmark against competitors’ product offering to improve product features and pricing framework for new and/or existing services to ensure market competitiveness and product relevance.
  • Develop pricing strategy including customized packages for segment markets to meet specific customer needs.
  • Be part of the team to introduce innovative products by keeping abreast of technology developments and trends; and regularly updated on changes in market needs.

 

Requirements:
  • A recognized degree with 5 years of product marketing experience, preferably in a related industry eg telecommunications, IT etc. Track record in successful product launches and/or promotion programs in Managed Services, Security Solutions, IP PBXs or IT solutions will be an added advantage.
  • Familiar with the Enterprise IT Outsourcing business, including the outsourcing of:

 

Desktop Management

Server + Storage

Messaging + Collaboration Service

Network Integration

Workforce Outsourcing

Management and monitoring 

 

  •  
    • Experience in the commercial and operational models, outsourcing processes and methodologies, industry standards (ITIL, COBIT, etc) would be advantageous.
  • Possesses experience in competitive pricing strategy and target marketing.
  • Possesses excellent communication and writing skills and a genuine enthusiasm for providing excellent support to both internal and external customers.
  • Possesses business insight and a firm grasp of the current telecommunications environment and technological developments for in-depth analysis of market trends & demands.
  • To be an independent and resourceful team player.
