Regional Marketing Manager - APAC (IT professional services)
fThe position is accountable for supporting our clientf’s revenue generation efforts in APAC through such marketing communications efforts as localization of sales collateral, print and online advertising, direct mail, newsletters, branding and positioning, events, messaging, ad agency coordination and promotional materials. This individual would also work with Vice President, Global Marketing and the Global Marketing Team to leverage and localize candidate focused demand generation projects.
ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE:
The Marketing Manager, Asia Pacific reports to the Vice President General Manager, Asia Pacific.
There are no full time positions reporting to this position.
NATURE OF WORK - Major Functions:

Receives work assignments from Vice President General Manager, Asia Pacific in collaboration with Vice President, Global Marketing based on current needs, experience of the manager and manager's particular strengths in marketing and communications.

Meets with appropriate sales or country representative to discuss marketing needs and participates as a member of the sales and marketing team.

Assists with the development, planning, localization, and execution of regional and global campaigns; including identifying and managing vendors.

Reviews literature in the assigned marketing project, previous marketing materials used in the assignment area, and gathers materials of competitive companies in the field.

Researches, writes, develops sketches of supporting graphics, and consults with printing firm representatives on the needs of the particular project. Presents recommendations to General Manager and Country Managers.

Assists with speeches for senior management and reviews proposed speech with the executive. Arranges for necessary speaking aids. Attends the presentation and offers feedback to the speaker.

May coordinate multimedia packages—letters, brochures, video, CD ROM, point-of-purchase displays—for particular assignments.

Develops direct mail programs, as dictated by the assignment, and monitors roll out of the campaign and checks for success level at conclusion.

Develops draft advertising text and layouts as part of campaign materials and presents to manager for review and approval.

Reviews and proofreads work product of other non-marketing staff prior to inclusion in marketing literature.

Assists with PR coordination in region
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

May staff company booth or exhibit at trade shows and conferences.

May be referral person for questions on department communications materials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
A bachelor's degree in marketing, journalism, advertising, or communications. Graduate work in business, journalism/marketing preferred.

4 years experience as Marketing Generalist in the APAC region.

Superior presentation and analytical skills, plus demonstrated skills to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.

Ability to work under deadline pressure and extra hours if needed on assignments.

Multi- lingual with strong skills in English
