Regional Channel Business Development (Storage & Server)
The Storage & Server Channel Development Manager is responsible for strategizing the channel plans for Storage & Server, to recruit the right partners, and to work with the countries and the BU to improve the blades performance.
Key responsibilities include :-
1. Quota achievement and Inventory Management
2. Drive Growth via effective channel initiatives
3. Achieve key BU and SPO channel objectives
4. Clear communications on the above
The Channel Development Manager role is the key liaison point between SPO and BU in the region, and between SPO in the country and the region for the Storage & Server business. This role is responsible for understanding and executing the key strategies and objectives that the BU has for the channel business. In order to be effective in this role, the Channel Development Manager must do the following:
1. Understand the BU key issues and business drivers; and to help them understand the channel situation and competitive activities
2. Formulate a strategic channel business plan, designed to meet the BU business objectives for the channel business, execute the plan across selected countries in the region and regularly track progress against goals and activities
3. Be an effective interface and lead for the local SPO PBMs back to the region (and vice versa)
4. Conduct regular meetings with countries SPO to ensure execution against plans and to provide advice and assistance to countries to ensure their success in meeting the BU channel business objectives
5. Communicate effectively with BU/local SPO to ensure their support for region-led programs and that execution is happening correctly and programs are designed and executed to meet their business needs.
6. Review with PDP (partner development and programs) and marketing to communicate BU objectives and ensure they are translated into execution within PDP and marketing business plans.
7,Ensure effective use of CDF and cooperative marketing funds to drive BU business.
8.Provide communications to field and channels using appropriate communication routes, consistently and in a timely fashion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s (undergraduate) degree preferably in computer science or engineering or marketing or equivalent experience
Past Experience preferred: At least 3-7 years of work experience of which 4 - 5 years of working experience in 2 or more of the following areas: channel, servers, storage, blades or thin-client is essential.

• Create and execute service level agreements to define customer and supplier expectations
