Our client, a bio-medical manufacturing MNC has an opening for a Production Planner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for operation management and control of entire order process from point of order (OEM order from customer; demand and release plan) to execution completion (ready for sales) within an acceptable time frame.
• Plan sub-assembly in an acceptable holding (safety stock) level to meet the demand of finished goods.
• Minimise sub-assembly obsolescence
• Check material availability and liaise with various departments on any supply constraint / shortages.
• Generate and analysis MRP report for sub-assembly.
• Co-ordinate and handle logistics flow and invoice verification.
• Monitor inventory holding level for sub-assembly to minimize any obsolescence.
• Follow up and monitor on any document change request (TDN, BOM) that would affect production order if left unattended to.
• Generate weekly production plan and schedule based on forecast, customer order and capacity
• Provide monthly report on cycle time, attainment rates, etc.
• Capacity planning and analysis

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in Production Planning, Scheduling in a Manufacturing environment or in a high volume and dynamic Manufacturing Environment.
• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
• Preferably Senior Executives specializing in Logistics/Supply Chain, Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Familiar with MRP / ERP environment.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Candidates with experience in SAP will have an added advantage.
