Responsibilities

  • Taking charge and leading the in-house facilities team in all daily facilities maintenance issues.
  • Formulate facilities maintenance specifications which includes reviewing the standard, schedule and requirement of maintenance, schedule of rates, and manage these contracts to ensure managing and services are carry out per requirement
  • Plan, schedule, organize and record all preventive programmes to ensure optimum performance of the building including Building Management System, ACMV system, M&E system and Fire Safety system/equipment
  • Involved in monitoring, presenting performance updates and monthly report, as well as driving innovation and green initiatives. Monitoring of improvement works to conform to specifications and authority requirements
  • - Testing and commissioning of plants equipment
  • - Responding to power failures and M&E services failures
  • - Maintaining and updating Standard Operational Procedures and plans of facilities
  • Dealing with contractors, coordinate projects to be in compliance with all relevant legislation, standards and requirements governing the management of building.
  • Manage technical & service contracts, including procurement of contracts
  • Fire Safety Management, planning and conducting fire drills.
  • Tenant Management such as budget planning, outsourcing, tendering and awarding of contracts, perform inspections of building and follow up on enforcement measures to ensure compliance and rectification by our lessees or tenants in accordance to the requirements set by the company and other government authorities
  • Security Management - such as budget planning, outsourcing, tendering and awarding of contracts, vendor performance review and enforcement measures to ensure compliance of requirements set by the company and government authorities.
  • Cleaning Contractor Management - such as budget planning, outsourcing, tendering and awarding of contracts, vendor performance review and enforcement measures to ensure compliance of requirements set by the company and government authorities.
  • Company Transportation & Driver Management - such as budget planning, outsourcing, tendering and awarding of contracts, vendor performance review and enforcement measures to ensure compliance of requirements set by the company and government authorities.
  • Manage job scope related sourcing and purchases
  • Participate in or perform ad hoc projects/assignment.

 

Requirements

  • Diploma in building/facilities management/mechanical or electrical engineering with 3 years of proven track record in maintenance of buildings
  • Strong technical knowledge in M&E systems
  • Fire Safety Manager Certificate will be an advantage
  • Proven leadership & management skills, planning & managing of manpower
  • Ability to work independently
