Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and advice to Machinists on new programs and/or ongoing program enhancements.
• Develop and conduct tests to enhance manufacturing processes, monitor and compile test data, perform problem solving and provide technical support to resolve technical issues.
• Establish manufacturing procedures and proper documentation control.
• Build new Manufacturing Job Instruction Sheets (JIS) including inspection plan, NC program and Tool/Gauge plan.
• Initiate productivity improvement activities including equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment.
• Resolve technical issues relating to internal and external customers' feedback.
• Perform feasibility studies in the manufacturing capacity improvement, layout improvements and expansion.
• Seek continuous improvement to existing manufacturing system and its related processes.
• Participate actively in company-wide productivity and quality programmes.
• Participate in ACE activities and EHS initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in an Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 to 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Competent in MS office applications.
• Competent in Unigraphics and/or other CAD/CAM applications.
• Knowledge in equipment/fixture selection, design and deployment
• Team player with good interpersonal skills.
