Be part of the team responsible for technical transfer of jetting module manufacturing from USA (Dayton) to  ( factory in Xiamen). The scope of the position will encompass all aspects of Jetting Module manufacturing including but not limited to: processes, equipment, parts, quality control, lean manufacturing, failure and root cause analysis, solutions to any problems encountered. He/She will be a process and equipment expert for processes inside and outside of the clean room.

He/She will establish and lead project activities including but not limited to:

quality, manufacturing capacity, cost reduction, production “firefighting”, supplier or quality issues, operator training, ISO compliant process documentation, kaizen workshops, capital project purchase and installation, and yield improvements.

He/She will work closely with site management, manufacturing engineers and technicians, production supervision, and production operators on daily production issues. This person must be a good problem solver, self starter and able to work independently.

He/She will participate in new product manufacturing process development and validation and maintenance of purchased materials and supplier relationships.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

BS Engineering in Mechanical or Electrical

Preferably with Inkjet Printhead manufacturing experience

Familiarity with microelectronic packaging methods, high precision automated equipment, and associated instrumentation

Demonstrated project leadership

Ability to work with other engineers, technicians, production supervisors, and operators

Hands-on process engineering experience, preferably with automated equipment

Strong technical problem solving skills

Design of Experiments, statistical process control, statistical interpretation

Lean manufacturing experience

Prior experience with tight tolerances and associated measurement techniques for inspection of these dimensions

Knowledgeable in part fabrication processes, particularly adhesive bonding

Clean room experience

Fluent in speaking, reading and writing English, Mandarin Chinese. Good written and verbal communication skills

Computer literate with Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Project, databases, and analysis

Able to travel to USA and China
