Job Details:
The Senior Production/Operations Leader will report to the Plant Manager and will be accountable for managing the safety and productivity of the manufacturing operations.
Job Expectations:
In addition to Leadership Accountabilities Expectations by Job Level, this position is responsible to:
• Ensure a safe, clean and environmentally compliant work environment and build a culture where safety is a first priority; train and develop employee to safely perform their jobs
• Develop and manage the manufacturing department budget annual productivity goals and other department objectives as assigned by the Plant Leader
• Responsible for the efficient operation and production output of one or more of the production assets in a single facility – always seeking ways to deliver lower cost.
• Provide leadership and support to meet/exceed shift productivity goals
• Develop and manage the quality and product measurement systems to provide a consistent quality product
• Responsible for the scheduling of assets in the most efficient manner and also accuracy of information reported
• Establish and effectively communicate department goals and objectives
• Establish/maintain a culture of employee ownership and responsibility
• Establish and manage an environment of continuous improvement
