Project Manager (Product Devlelopment - consumer electronics)

Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the development of new products
Management of all activities related to new product development
Project planning and tracking
Leading of multi-disciplinary teams consisting of mechanical / acoustical / electronics engineers, product marketing, purchasing, quality engineers and development partners
Communication
within the organization, i.e. China, Denmark and Germany
with development partners and agencies
Budget planning and tracking
Requirements:

Able to motivate the project team
Determined yet not overly aggressive
High sense of urgency
Wiling to make a difference
Proven track record in:
Timely delivery of results within budget and quality constraints
Familiarity with product development processes
Strong skill set:
Effective communication
Proficiency in MS Office, Lotus Notes,
Project Management tools
Verifiable knowledge of electronics and/or mechanics (design and manufacturing) considered an advantage
Knowledge of Consumer Electronics considered an advantage
Well developped strengths:
Able to inspire commitment
Able to motivate the project team
Able to effectively lead teams within organization
Able to effectively lead teams located at development partners
Results oriented working style
Able to work effectively under pressure
Candidate must possess at least a degree in Physics or Engineering, a degree in electrical engineering is considered an advantage
At least 7 years of working experience in the related field
Applicants should be Malaysian, Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.
