Our MNC client  provides strategic, comprehensive diagnostics and failure analysis solutions to manufacturers of semiconductors.

The Technical Writers will work as part of the Applications Team and will be responsible for writing, editing, and producing operational and maintenance publications for PDF and web-based delivery (online help). Contact subject matter experts for input. Receive input in written form and from interviews. Checks and revises input for completeness, accuracy, good grammar, punctuation, and so on. Take photos when necessary to augment procedures. Researches and translates technical information into manuals and/or online help documents for non-technical and technical users and may document engineering processes and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Create, develop, plan, write and edit operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication

Conduct interviews with various users and technical staff to gather data for documentation

Research and translate technical information into manuals and/or web-based documents for non-technical and technical users

Recommend formats responsive to technical and customer requirements

Produce products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

B.A. degree or equivalent and at least 5 years related experience

B.A / B.S degree (or 4-year equivalent) in English Language

Experience writing technical documentation which includes on-line help

High level of English language proficiency (written and oral)

Proficiency in FrameMaker, Acrobat, Word, and Photoshop required and experience in Visio, Illustrator preferred

Semiconductor/test industry experience a plus
