HR Specialist/Manager (compensation and benefits)

You will report to the Asia Pacific HR Director and be part of a lean regional HR team responsible for driving human resource activities and programs across Asia that will leverage our human capital for our high growth business.
Acting as a partner to the business, you will proactively anticipate and meet the needs of business leaders, staff and line managers through the HR function. This entails a good understanding of the business and market situation in the respective field offices across Asia, reviewing and formulating policies and practices to align and support business and people needs as well as applying best practices in handling current and emerging people issues to achieve business excellence.
While providing generic HR support, you will primarily own Compensation & Benefits portfolio as well as being the HR Account Manager for designated countries. In the Comp & Benefits arena, you will work closely with field and corporate HR to ensure that the compensation and benefits practices are in line with our rewards strategy. You will drive the merit reviews, bonus, incentive, recognition and stock programs. You will also be responsible for ensuring our benefits are relevant and cost effective and that the countries’ HR policies and practices are in compliance with the local labour laws. You will ensure HR operational effectiveness through the e-HR infrastructure. You will also compile meaningful and accurate HR reports for management. From time to time, you will participate in or drive HR projects within Asia or with counterparts in the US or Europe. This is an individual contributor role.
Requirements
1. A Degree in Human Resource Management or relevant discipline.
2. Minimum 6 years of working experience in human resource with a strong background in Compensation and Benefits in a regional capacity. Experience in HRIS, especially SAP will be an advantage.
3. Prior regional experience with an MNC will be preferred.
4. Dynamic personality with solid interpersonal and communications skills.
5. Effectively bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin)
6. Self-driven, service-oriented mindset, a team player, diligent, fast paced, analytical, meticulous, detailed, adaptable and resourceful.
7. Willing to be “hands on” and to travel when required.
