• monitor the availability and performance of server systems and applications
• performing troubleshooting, maintenance activities, upgrades and patches.
• server systems capacity upgrades, plan and participate in disaster recovery tests
• Install , setup of virtualised servers
• ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies and procedures.
• Hardware Vendor Coordination

Qualifications

• relevant certifications in MCITP, MCTS, VCP,
• Diploma or degree in Information Technology/Science
• minimum of 3-5 years of relevant working experience in server administration on Windows 2003/2008
• virtualization servers using VMware & Hyper-V
• good Wintel and VMware configuration knowledge and experience
• Knowledge of SANS storage configuration
• ITIL standards, preferably from working with a service provider.
