  • Responsible to provide proactive fault monitoring and first level incident management for the entire set of products supported in the Command Centre. The products are, but not limited to:
  • Bag Manager, Bag Message, Messaging (Type B, Type X, Open Systems), server environments (Windows, Unix & AIX).

Essential Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Data Communications, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 1 to 3 years experience of basic troubleshooting of network protocols.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with multi-tasking operating systems (Aix/Linux/Windows) is a must.

Good to have

  • Experience with cluster environment (especially AIX HACMP) would be an asset.
  • Experience with MQSeries (or other message queuing system) would be an asset.
  • Experience with SQL / Oracle database environments would be an asset.
  • Knowledge of Airport/Airline Operations would be an asset.
  • Experience in customer services / helpdesk environment would be an asset.

Work Hours

  • Mon to Fridays (alternate AM/PM shifts  from 7.30am/1.30pm, 7 hours work day)
  • Weekends (2 days a month on 12 hour day shift)


  • Base salary 3 to 3.3K
  • Fixed shift allowance 300 per month
  • Overtime pay if required
