Responsible for creating reports, insights and analytics based on business needs. Produce reports for analysis using system reporting tools. Conduct research and analyse data to provide insights for company’s initiatives. Able to identify trends and patterns in datasets using data from internal and external sources. Provide consultation to users and work with cross functional teams to address the business requests. Build strong working relationships with various LoBs to produce management reports which meet business needs and are actionable within the business environment. Able to evaluate complex business scenarios to provide valuable assessment to key decision-makers.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Ensure that the data repositories (e.g. LANDesk) produce consistent and reusable data
  2. Convert data into information in a form of visualization to drive margin improvement and increase productivity.
  3. Work with technical team, service delivery team, and IT Service Management team to gather, analyse and document information for development standard reports.
  4. Prepare management reports and presentations on Performance Metrics Indicators and other statistical data on the overall IT/business operations. Summarise results and provide relevant context for management review
  5. Conduct audits on IT Services reports to ensure accuracy and meets customers’ contractual requirements.
  6. Develop a process for reporting enhancements to improve efficiency and introduce automation.
  7. Make recommendations about the methods a company should use to collect, analyze and manage data to improve data quality and the efficiency of data systems.
  8. Other ad hoc assignments

KEY TECHNICAL SKILL / KNOWLEDGE

  1. Degree, related in Business Analytics, Computer Science or Information Science
  2. Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate effectively at all levels.
  3. Able to build strong working relationships across organisation
  4. Meticulous and good analytical skills.
  5. Adaptable to various business models and tools
  6. Working knowledge of analysis and reporting tools
  7. Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft tools
  8. Ability to manage multiple projects in multiple functional areas simultaneously
