Responsible for providing technical assistance/advice to internal/external support entities and assisting in co-ordinating projects & performing the role of team player in project implementation.

CRITICAL JOB FACTOR

Experienced IT professional with a technical strong background in designing and implementing a sizable Microsoft messaging infrastructure.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manage and ensure the smooth operations of the company’s messaging system infrastructure including Anti-virus & anti-spam, DNS on Linux platform.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve messaging systems related incidents and perform root cause analysis including 2nd level escalation from Helpdesk 24x7 on-call support as needed.
3. Perform regular messaging systems capacity, maintenance and performance tuning activities such as server configuration and administration of IBM Domino and/or Microsoft Exchange.
4. Ensure messaging system availability, reliability, proper access and security controls are in place.
5. Participate in the implementation and migration of new Microsoft Exchange and/or IBM Notes project.
6. Schedule, plan, validate and supervise the installation and testing of new features, updates, patches to the messaging system infrastructure.
7. Validate and perform messaging system change requests.
8. Prepare and maintain the necessary documentation.
9. Administer the Data Centre facilities and operations.

KEY TECHNICAL SKILL / KNOWLEDGE

1. Degree / Diploma in Computer Science, E. Engineering or related disciplines.
2. Strong Technical Skill in Linux and Windows 2008/2012 servers are required.
3. Has demonstrated experience in deployment, administration, supporting and troubleshooting solutions such as IBM Domino 8.5.3/9.0.1 and Microsoft Exchange 2010/2013.
4. Experience with Microsoft Office Communicator Suite, Microsoft Right Management, Blackberry Enterprise Messaging Platform is an advantage.
5. Experience on Mobile Device Management Solution.
6. Technical certification in Network and system such as CCNA, MCSE is an advantage.
7. Experience with PowerShell Scripting, Java Scripting or Windows Scripting is an advantage.
8. Good verbal and written communication. 9. Team player but can also work with minimal managerial intervention

Annual Base salary : 55K pa

Annual Gross Salary : 70K pa
