Our IT team provides a centre of excellence for our manufacturing operations in Asia, Australia and New Zealand.

  • Part of team of 7 in SG support whole of Asia + ANZ region
  • Team handles incidents, requests and enquiries from users and business managers across all elements of our rich IT environment.
  • Remote Support via phone, email, ticketing system

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility to provide application and technical support to business users remotely
  • Responding to and resolving support requests and service tickets in a professional and timely manner
  • Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving level 1 and level 2 issues in computer hardware, software, services and applications
  • Providing both reactive and proactive support to business units; respond to critical issues as needed;investigate root causes; and identify trends and suggest remedies for the proactive prevention of problems
  • Assisting with troubleshooting technical issues, including but not limited Microsoft Windows 7 & 10, Active Directory and Group Policy related end user issues, servers, storage and networking technology and corporate application platforms
  • Contribute to service improvement and upgrade projects with senior support engineers and service leaders

Years of Exp/Academic Requirements

  • Minimum 1 Year IT technical support experience in a service desk or technical support team
  • Min Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent

Types of Skills:

  • Experience in delivering IT technical service and process, in line with ITIL methodologies, and exposure to ITSM Tools like ServiceNow
  • Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with end users of various technical levels
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with keen attention to details
  • Technical support, configuration and trouble shooting skills in one or more of:
    • End user computing environment including Windows 7 & 10, MS Office,Gmail & Google Apps, general hardware & software including desktops, laptops,printers, print servers, and a variety of desktop applications
    • Core infrastructure services including Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, and DNS, especially from a user issues perspective
    • Wintel server administration including supporting and maintaining AD and group policy editing, Configuration Manager 2007/2016, SOE and application roll outs
    • Network support including routing, switching, firewalls and/or voice equipment and services; exposure to system design and configuration, release management, performance management and/or capacity management
  • Must be technically savvy and able to learn new skills quickly

 

Work Conditions

  • Earliest shift from 7am
  • 5 day week
  • Rotational standby support on weekly basis
  • budget up to 45K pa base salary
