JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• • Responsible for managing, monitoring and optimization of Configuration Management process
• • Accountable for the Configuration Management process with overall responsibility for the effective running of the process
• • Develops configuration management standards, configuration management plans and procedures
• • Agrees scope of the configuration management processes, function, the items that are to be controlled and the information that is to be recorded
• • Act as final approver of changes to CMDB
• • Ensures management and timely update of CI information
• • Responsible for updating, maintaining, verifying of Cis and auditing as defined within the Configuration Management policy
• • Accountable for the accuracy and integrity of the CI information within the CMDB
• • Responsible for ensuring process and CMDB compliance to audits or other compliance controls
• • Responsible for meeting SLA targets for CMDB accuracy
• • Maintenance and continual improvement of the Configuration Management process

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma/Degree
• 3-5 years of experience in IT services, with 1-2 years experience managing well structured CMDBs and Configuration Management processes.
• Knowledge and skills (general and technical)
• IT services, Configuration Management, ITSM tools and CMDB technology
