Our client is a global Energy Services Org based in Suntec City. This role sits in the Singapore Competency Centre supporting IT requirements of their business all over the world.

This role is focused on development, support and administration predominantly of the Custom application portfolio

KEY SKILLS

• Ability to investigate, identify and solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Experienced in Web UI development skills including HTML, JavaScript, CSS and JQuery
• Web and client application development experience desirable, in .NET
• Knowledge on Advance Web Technologies e.g. HMTL5, Responsive, and Material design would be an advantage
• Experience with Web Development JavaScript frameworks e.g. AngularJS, ReactJS, NodeJS would be highly desirable
• Strong SQL query skills
• Ability to self-organise within a team environment, a real team player
• Skills in cloud environment, including AWS

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years’ experience with .NET(2.0- 4.6 and Core) , C#, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS3, AJAX, JavaScript, Query, MS SQL Server/T-SQL, WCF, IIS, Windows Services, RESTful APIs, Web API and RFC
• Experience with using integration tool DTS or SSIS, source control management ideally VSS and GITHUB, monitoring tools preferably New Relic , Scaling .NET solutions particularly in AWS, VB.NET, AWS Beanstalk, AWS Lambda, AWS CodeCommit, AWS RDS, DynamoDB or other NoSQL database services
• Centura and Sybase experience is desirable
• Excellent understanding of typical multi-tier architectures: web servers (Apache, nginx, IIS), caching, application servers, & load balancers
• Understanding RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server)
• Knowledge of message queuing and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)
• Experience with CDN, and performance concepts
• Work experience with information and application security including public key encryption, SSH, access credentials, & X.509 certificates
• Experience developing stateless application & components
• Experience with TDD & Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 5+ years in application development role
• Experience in delivering IT technical service and process in line with ITIL methodology

Terms of Hire
1 year renewable / Convertible to Perm Contract
Annual Base salary up to 72K pa
