PURPOSE

To facilitate the transition of activities and responsibility for administration and support of the Salesforce implementation team to an AMS service; then provide ongoing support and enhancement of the platform.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Be the primary system administrator for the Salesforce environment
  • Manage and implement enhancement requests
  • Ensure that Incident & Requests are being handled within agreed SLA's
  • Handle all administrative functions including maintaining user accounts, refining access permissions, validations, reports and dashboards.
  • Troubleshoot/debug application issues at all levels, including database, user interface, business logic, interfaces, file system and application/database server
  • Manage the Salesforce landscape including backups and restorations.
  • Independently and iteratively, maintain and build the knowledge based of operational and technical processes and solutions.
  • Engage with business users via email, chat, phone, screen-share; in the provision of support
  • Collaborate with product owners and business users to illicit requirements and turn these into technical enhancements
  • Collaborate with 3rd party vendors/consultants that may be involved in future major releases and implementations
  • Pro-actively seek effective resolution of issues to the satisfaction of users
  • Identify repeat incidents and suggest improvements to improve the service
  • Provide user training as required
  • Comply to corporate OHS&E policies
  • Challenge the status quo, identify opportunities to stabilise/improve solutions, process and reduce effort or gain greater value from available resources

KEY SKILLS

  • Strong technical skills, but remaining confident communicating with business users at all levels
  • Excellent analytical skills, and an ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and effectively
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and an ability to articulate and convey information in both technical or non-technical language as required
  • Must be self-reliant and able to work independently, remotely and/or as part of a small team

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator and/or Developer
  • Technical programming background with experience in either Java, .NET, C# as well as HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Strong working experience with Force.com platform development including APEX code, custom controllers, extensions, triggers, and visualforce pages
  • Experience in developing and customisation of the platform including workflows, validation rules, approval processes
  • Experience building and maintaining integrations to ERP applications. SAP and custom ERP experience is highly desirable.
  • Understanding of sandbox & deployment processes, changes sets & packages.
  • Appropriate Salesforce Admin or Developer certifications.
  • Experience delivering services in line with ITIL methodology

Yearly Renewable and Convertible Contract
Annual Base pay: up to 80K pa
