Information Systems Specialist (network and desktop support)

Working at Changi International Airport, the information systems specialist (Jr Tech) will assist with providing basic technical support for computers and associated networks.
Incumbent will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing personal computers and peripherials and performing routine preventative maintenance.
Qualification
- Diploma in Computer Studies
- Minimum of 1 year experience working directly in a customer service environment.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of current communications devices and protocols, server and desktop technologies.
- Assists in installation projects including computers, networking hardware devices and software.
- Provides basic technical support for computers, associated networks and software.
- Trouble-shooting of computers, networking hardware devices and software.
- Performing routine preventive maintenance
- Repairing of personal computers and associated peripherals.
- Maintains inventory of equipment and parts
- Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.
- Cheerful, pleasant and people-oriented personality.
- Service-oriented, responsible and self-motivated, with an eye for details.
- Able to multi-task, work both independently and in a team, and take the initiative.
- Willing to work on shifts (including overnight). Shift patterns 2 days work (12 hour shift) + 2 day rest
Preferred Certifications Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), A+ Certification Preferred
