Systems Engineer (REDHAT, projects deployment)

• Manage assigned customers and perform project implementation.
• Provide on-site support for Redhat; perform Standby Support, 7x24
• To provide server hardware implementation, administration and troubleshooting.
• Pre-sales Activities and proposals for Tender submission.
• To perform systems solutions and integration related tasks/project.

• With 5 years experience in mid-to-large scale plan/install/maintain/ troubleshoot in Redhat Linux environment from Vendor/SI background
• With Intel-based Server hardware skills on install/upgrade/troubleshoot for systems from one of the major suppliers i.e. IBM, HP or Fujitsu
• Perform Pre-sales roles, and able to work on Tender Requirements /Proposal
• Redhat Clusters, RHN Satellite Server, Security,
• Redhat Virtualization (advantage)
• Microsoft OS Exposure (advantage):
  1. Active Directory Planning, Deployment, Consolidation
  2. Migration from Windows AD 2000/2003 to 2008
  3. Windows OS hardening
  4. Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• *** Candidate must provide information on past projects scopes completed.

• Experience in planning, design, configuration, installation, administration, upgrading, OS hardening, disaster recovery and troubleshooting of Linux (REDHAT, & SUSE)
• Redhat Network Satellite & Virtualization
• Redhat Clustering
• Directory Services and Authentication

• MS Proxy/IIS/ISA/DNS/DHCP/WINS
• Design/Plan/Implement/Maintain/Upgrade Windows Active Directory Infrastructure
• OS Hardening Skill
• Migration from MS Windows 2000 to MS Windows 2003/2008

• Polytechnic Diploma/Degree in IT/Computer related fields
• RHCE
• MCSA/MCSE 200X - advantage
