Security Engineer (IDS, IPS)

Principal Duties and Essential Job Functions:
- The Security Engineer is accountable to the account's Lead Information Risk Manager (LIRM), reports to the Global Security Asia director and also reports matrix to the account's Global LIRM (based in US). He/She is responsible in carrying out technical security work for the account and assists the LIRM in technical resolutions and services.

Key accountabilities:
- Conduct technical vulnerability assessment using advance scanning services.
- Prepare, consolidate, analyze and report vulnerability assessment results.
- Ensure remediation for scan vulnerabilities is completed within client's service level agreement
- Manage content filtering application as well as other information security solutions on a daily basis.
- Respond to security alerts from Intrusion Prevention and Detection Systems and other sources of alerts.
- 24/7 on call for alerts and incidence. (Rotation basis)
- Perform incident management, escalation and investigation.
- Assist account LIRM in technical solutions and deployment.
- He/She is expected to work very closely with the account?s regional LIRM, the Global LIRM, auditors as well as the client?s governance team as and when necessary.

Basic Qualifications:
- Degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in information security.
 - Strong interest and willingness to advance in information security field. - Ability to work as a team as well as independently.
- Ability to identify and keep abreast with latest information security technologies.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
