Systems Engineer (Data Centre, VMware, unix/wintel, SCOM)

- Monitor availability and correct functioning of all the servers (250 servers) using SCOM systems, as well as utilization and planning for server systems capacity upgrades.
- Follow up in diagnosing and resolving any system problems.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting of system infrastructures.
- Planning, coordinating and performing maintenance activities, upgrades, patches and disaster recovery tests.
- Work with other technical teams including Application support and vendors as necessary
- Responsible to create and maintenance standard Server image
- Responsible for DR and server security audit Candidate
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in IT or any other related discipline from a recognised educational institution.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience in planning, deploying, managing and troubleshooting Server infrastructure.
- Candidates with prior experiences in Data Center operation environment and support more 100 servers are required.
- Possess good Wintel Server configuration knowledge.
- Prior experience in support VMWARE ESX environment is required
- Certification in MCSE, MCSA., VMware certified is strongly preferred.
- Good awareness of ITIL standards is a plus.
- Have EMC SAN and IBM AIX or Other UNIX server hand on experience is a plus.
