Functional Role

A a project lead / project manager, the Senior IT Analyst will analyze, design, develop, implement and maintain enterprise information systems on mainly SAP / turnkey / in-house developed applications.

Principal Accountabilities
1.Analyze, design, develop and maintain enterprise information systems to computerize the business processes, and help to streamline the business processes of the user departments.
2.Play a project leader role for in-house system development / maintenance / enhancements.
3.Manage small to medium-scale projects which are outsourced to vendors. Responsible for preparing tender specifications, evaluation and implementation of the outsourced systems.
4.Coordinate and conduct user acceptance tests and training. 
5.Provide system documentation according to the Project Development Methodology.
6.Provide technical assistance and day-to-day operational support for existing systems.
7.Conduct post implementation reviews to gather user feedback and schedule for enhancements and modifications.
8.Evaluate software package / productivity tools and make recommendations to supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills
1.Good Degree / Diploma in Computer Science or IT.
2.At least 5 years of relevant work experience in enterprise application development and implementation (out of which at least 2 years in the role of project leader / project manager) for the Senior IT Analyst position.
3.Experience in SAP HR module. (pref)
4.Good knowledge of software development life cycles and structured project development methodology.
5.Experience in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) is preferred.
6.Good understanding of web-based applications using VBScript, JavaScript, MS ASP, .NET, Java, Servlets, J2EE and with good understanding of  web-service standards / protocols such as XML, SOAP and UDDI. 
7.Excellent interpersonal, written and presentation skills.
8.Good analytical thinking and problem solving skills.
