Presales Consultant

- Responsible for providing pre-sales support, project management & implementation (Mixed role of PreSales and Delivery)  (70% presales 30% delivery)
- He/She will also provide consulting services to internal & external customers including direct customer interaction and be able to lead teams on technology engagements.
 - Deploying of Virtualisation technologies, Server & Storage Consolidation,  Microsoft Enterprise solutions eg. Exchange, SQL, SMS, MOM, OCS, Hyper V, Active Directory, etc
 - Work closely with Sales, Pre Sales & Delivery Teams and mgmnt in customer engaging activities
- Responsible for report submission pertaining to project execution under his care when required by mgmnt team
 - Remove technical barriers that can impact customer's buying decision
 - Knows when and how to leverage or escalate to internal resources to move along an opportunity
 - Owns and develops Technical/Executive level relationships within an account
 - Understands and sells effectively against specific competitor claims
 - Develops relationships with Principal vendors technical resources to provide specific solutions to customer's business challenges
 - Effectively presents complex technical information to a variety of customers, from technical decision makers to executive-level management
 - Demonstrates architecture and application expertise
 - Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Infrastructure, Virtualisation and other emerging technologies and their implications on customer solutions
 - Execute technical evaluations or installation and educates customer on proposed solutions
 - Execute technical qualification and technical closure on opportunities

Maximize Customer Experience
 - Ensures the appropriate technical resources are in place to address complex customer requirements
 - Maximizes the customer experience by recommending appropriate products and services
 - Provides ongoing communication with the account manager to ensure a consistent and cohesive message to the customer
Maintain Technical Competence/Develop Self:
 - Obtains additional technical training as needed to improve technical knowledge and skills
 - Develops presentation skills through practice, additional training and incorporating manager  feedback
