As part of the Creative team, the Designer reports to the Manager and is responsible for exploration and conceptualization of design options and solutions.

S/he will work as a member of a larger team in the development of client focused design solutions as well as working hand in hand with Client Service colleagues to fulfill client needs.

Various duties and responsibilities include contributing concepts for all client engagements under the direction of a manager, conducting conceptual exploration of design alternatives, participating in meetings and critiques; refining concepts; preparing prototypes and designs for client presentations; and liaising effectively with clients and other relevant consultants.

Job Responsibilities

To be able to apply human metaphoric to Interface Design to ensure relevant and user-friendly operational usage of user interfaces.

To be open to a wide range of work/projects and contribute ideas to exploit latest technologies and the positive impact to user interfaces

To be able to understand briefing, design direction & communication objectives and put into prototype designs and storyboard.

To be able to create xaml design coding in Expression Blend and integrate with UI developer into .NET environment to provide a consistency in UI Design.

Education & Experience

A university or technical school degree in design, architectural or a similar field of study

Minimum 2 years of related working experience preferably with an entertainment software Industry background.

Experience in Human Communication Interaction (HCI) design

Experience in screen design for Desktop, Web base and Mobile applications.

To be able to communicate and read/write in English.

To be able to think out of box and work under tight deadlines

Proficiency in applications such as Adobe Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Microsoft Expression and Visual Studio.

Very good understanding of xaml coding is a must.

Good understanding of Silverlight, .Net , Ajax, Smart client and JavaScript are a must.

Very good understanding in User preferences and Colour concept is a bonus.

Must be self-motivated, good communicator, comfortable with following direction, thrive on multidisciplinary teams, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines.

Independent, meticulous and an eye for details.
