Regional Network/Systems Engineer

• Administer our client's regional WAN that includes Pix/ASA administration, router management, ensuring availability of Internet line services, VPN tunnels with US, UK and partner offices.
• Management of remote access VPN, IPS, IDS and Wi-Fi systems.
• Be part of the project team for network related deployment and implementation.
• Supporting internal systems and operations, including but not limited to maintenance of desktops, printers, servers and LAN.
• Managing external vendors for PABX, network equipments, servers and other IT related maintenance, procurement and services.
• Provide 2nd level IT phone support for regional  offices.
• Define IT network policies and ensure they are enforced and adhered.
• Keep related documentations up to date
  

• Degree in Computer Science or Communications
• At least 4 years of IT infrastructure experience
• At least CCNP preferred with good understanding/experience in network design

• CISCO networking/router management, Internet knowledge and VPN is a must
• Good knowledge of client-server and web technologies is an added advantage
• Experience with MS2003, XP O/S and Exchange 2003 is an added advantage
• Knowledge in implementing and supporting IP telephony is an added advantage
• Creative, dynamic and committed and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Ownership of the tasks from start to complete.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Good people skills: posses good interpersonal skills and enjoy working with people at all levels.
