Wintel Systems Engineer (managed server farm env)

Provide key aspects of the Windows NT/2000/2003/AD Server service delivery including technical support, capacity and performance analysis,
hardware and software support, vendor management, crisis resolution,  server and service implementation, product installation, project   management, and problem management.
Be part of the 24x7 on-call support team providing up to third level  support for the Windows NT/2000/2003 server base.
Provide key inputs into the Windows NT/2000/2003/AD server product plan  including the development and evolution of the Windows Operating System computing network.
Assist in assuring a cost-effective, high-level of service to Computer Engineering/Windows Computing Services colleagues regionally.

Qualifications:

Min 5 years job related experience in a server computing environment, with 1-2 years performing system administration, system configuration
and technical problem solving.
Background in Windows NT/2000/2003/AD and network communications strongly desired.
Proven project planning and strong technical expertise within a Windows NT/2000/2003/AD or other computing environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Strong and effective global teamworking skills.
Ability to work independently, plan, organize and manage priorities.
Degree in Computing Science, Engineering or related technical specilization preferred.
Formal Windows NT/2000/2003/AD training with MCSE certification.
Experience in Backup solutioning such as Symantec Netbackup, CA Arcserve, Legato Networker.
Experience in SAN/NAS is a plus.
Experience in Citrix/Terminal Suppport is a plus.
