IT Support Specialist (DR/BCP, BANK)

  • Manage the implementation, maintenance and enhancement of the Disaster Recovery Framework & Policies, Strategy & Plan
  • Strategize, Organize and Execute DR Tests to meet Business & Regulatory Requirements
  • Provide guidance and assistance for stand-alone and bank-wide DR testing, prepare bank-wide DR test plan
  • Liaise with IT core teams to monitor any new developments or changes to system configurations or processes that may impact DR setup and documentation
  • Review DRP document changes & updates by IT core teams, and update the DRP Change Log
  • Provide guidance and advisory assistance to project teams for DR implementation to be in line with the bank’s DR policies and guidelines.
  • Review suitability of selected BCP sites
  • Provide support for the setup and configuration of IT infrastructure at BCP sites
  • Maintain BCP site setup documentation
  • Participate and provide onsite support during BCP testing
  • Track IT issues encountered during BCP testing and follow up on the resolutions
Reporting to Team Lead
  • Requires good communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
  • Willing to travel and able to take on additional tasks assigned
  • Must be resourceful, analytical and flexible
