Key responsibilities:
providing hands on technical expertise to support business needs
provide level 1 to level 3 support on ASE servers such as monitoring request systems, troubleshooting and performance tuning, issue resolution, build and/or upgrade ASE servers
Working closely with application teams to resolve performance issues

Key requirements:
Strong in Sybase ASE (1192, 12, 125)
Experience with Sybase Replication Server v12
Strong in Perl, Shell, and Solaris
Solid experience in performance and tuning skills
Ability to work independently and in team environment within a global organisation
Exposure to SAN, Cluster, Volume Manager
Sun or Red Hat certification preferred
