Production Operations Lead (Data Centre)
Supervise, give direction and coordination of operational, maintenance and
repair, administrative, computer operations, training program, quality
assurance, and work production activities.
Supervise a Computer Operations Team consist of 8 staffs and 3 Computer
Operations Executive.
Ensuring optimum organizational productivity and a smooth, efficient work
flow with on-time accurately.
Schedule staffing responsibilities for patient care and daily duties of the shift.
Supervision and performance management of positions supervised.
Train staff in operations of the department.
Accountable for quality and appropriateness of staff daily job performance.
Identify staffs needs, family issues, and recommend proper intervention.
Analyze operations, users, department needs and find solutions in the form of
system automation, implementation of new procedures and documentation for
operations and users.
Review and recommend system products that will benefit company and
department and train. Customer support for bank users; work with manager in
new implementation project.
Production Job maintenance, Menu options management. Batch job option
management.
Supervise Disaster Recovery activity, responsible for Testing, Backup,
Restore, Refresh Process are well executed and prepare appropriate
documentation.
Manage configurations, drivers, file system, user and device setup,
store/restore system, start/stop system, performed data communications
duties.
Supervisor Computer Operations for AS400 Series, WinTel servers and AIX
Unix.
Data Centre environmental maintenance, review and monitoring compliance
to bank standard. Performed data centre capacity changes, equipment
allocation, blue plan layout, upgrades and supervise vendor to meet the job
completion date line.
Evaluate performance reviews and job promotions, interview and hire new
personnel.
Developed and maintained departmental budgets
Initiated work orders to schedule maintenance request
Ensure promptly daily support and maintain for the bank critical applications.
Work closely with the application development and technical staff in the IT
Department to ensure smooth operation of all systems and their related
processes.
Review the operation workflow, daily cycle of each application and interfaces
between applications.
Implement new applications with application development and technical staff
within IT department.
Tackle production problems and escalate to relevant IT staff, if necessary.
Assume key role in yearly business continuity and technical disaster recovery
exercise.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining overall efficiency of the server
environment as well as play an active role in managing and leading
infrastructure project implementations.
