Our clien a global bank, has open a new global network command centre and is looking to fill 15 posts at level 2 support

Network Engineers (L2 global support, bank, shift)

Perform level2 type troubleshooting for EMEA, ASPAC and Japan.
Answer and respond to phone calls from clients, vendors and other internal CTI organizations.
Develops, improves, implements and delivers superior Network Operations support to our client's infrastructure.
Assist in coordinating outage conference calls and performs business and management notification.
Escalate issues and/or outages to GNCC level3.
Refer issues to various vendors and perform follow up.


Broad regional and global exposure with other operational groups.
Exposure to multiple network architectures and vendors.
Position will have broad business contacts globally, and across all major business lines (GCIB, Corporate, Consumer, etc).
Ability to influence and improve our client’s Network Operations practices and technologies.
Support a network on scale unmatched by most companies in the world.


KEY CHALLENGES/ANTICIPATED CHANGES
Support various our client's businesses.
Learning and understanding GNCC process and controls.
Understanding the various parts of  our client's network.
Support of multi-vendor routers and switches.
Perform network changes when necessary.


EXPECTED CONTRIBUTION/TASKS

Complete daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly and annual tasks.
Develops and maintains external relationships with the global team.
Fosters innovation. Working with Engineering colleagues, ensures our support services stay current/ahead of the market.
Develop and track solutions to existing control issues, and ensure ongoing self-identification of control issues.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
2-5 years experience working with Cisco routers and switches. 
Familiar with Microsoft Office Products, IE- Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
Cisco Certification (CCNA, CCNP) is preferred.
Good working knowledge of Local Area Networks (LANs)
Good working knowledge of Wide Area networks (WANs) (T1s, T3s, Frame Relay, ISDN etc).
Good working knowledge of at least three of the following routing protocols: EIGRP, IGRP, BGP, OSPF, RIP.
Excellent problem solving skills

Self-Motivator
Energetic and eager to learn.

Up to 55K base salary per annum 

For Level 1 & 2 : These are Day & Night shift based, 7hrs.

Allowance given = $500 (shift) + $150 (transport) = $650
