Position: Web & Security engineer

Reports To: Asia Pacific Web & Security Engineering manager

Department: Architecture & Technology Engineering (CATE)

 

Summary:

Our client ,a global bank is looking for an experienced web and security infrastructure engineer to join the Web & Security Engineering team.

 

Requirements:

The candidate should have: -

  • At least 5 years experience of building/supporting web infrastructure or security infrastructure systems.

  • Experience of designing enterprise web and security solutions for global companies.

  • Hands-on experience of implementing and supporting web and security infrastructure applications.

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

The candidate will: -

  • Be responsible for formulating technical designs and implementing systems for major regional infrastructure projects and key global initiatives.

  • Work with global engineering teams to develop corporate standards and communicate them to Integration and Operations teams.

  • Document regional standards and strategic roadmaps.

  • Assist regional Integration and Operations teams to formulate technical solutions for major/minor projects and technical requests.

  • Review regional technical design documents created by Integration and Operations teams for web and security infrastructure and other technology infrastructure to ensure compliance with global Internet and security standards.

  • Provide third line technical support for web and security infrastructure applications.

  • Provide consultancy to infrastructure and applications teams for web and security related requirements and issues.

 

Technical Skills:

The candidate should have experience in the following areas: -

 

General

  • Sun Solaris, Linux, Microsoft Windows

  • TCP/IP, DNS, BGP

 

Security Infrastructure

  • Firewalls (Checkpoint Firewall-1/VPN-1, Provider-1)

  • Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (Enterasys Dragon, SourceFire, Arbor Peakflow)

  • Authentication & authorization (eTrust SiteMinder, eTrust/Sun ONE Directory, Active Directory, RADIUS, Secure Computing Safeword)

  • Encryption (IPsec on Unix/Windows, PKI, SSL, SSH, Hardware Security Modules)

  • Security Event Management Systems (Network Intelligence)

 

 

Web Infrastructure

  • Load balancers (F5 3DNS/BigIP, Citrix Netscaler)

  • Proxy servers (Bluecoat ProxySG)

  • SSL VPN (Juniper/Neoteris)

  • IPsec VPN (Nortel Contivity)

  • Terminal Servers (Tarantella, Citrix)

  • Web servers (Sun ONE Web Server, Microsoft IIS)
