Technical Support Engineers (Remote, 2nd level Wintel Servers, Citrix)

Wintel/Citrix Engineer The CITRIX engineer will be part of the 3rd level team and leveraged across accounts that have CITRIX requirements. The activities for this role include but are not limited to: - Soliciting technical requirements from customers - Giving presentations and demonstrations of products - Providing informal advice on what products might fulfil the customers needs - Writing more formal documents such as proposals - Serving as a point of contact for non-routine technical issues at supported accounts The principal qualifications for being a systems engineer are technical knowledge in the appropriate domain(s), verbal and written communications skills and the ability and desire to work closely with all support people. - Citrix product experience at an administrator level - Proficient in various operating systems and products, such as Microsoft Windows Servers 2003, Terminal Services, Active Directory - Be skilled in network topologies and network security infrastructure, have in-depth knowledge in security solutions such as VPN?s and Firewalls - Have basic understanding in Unix - Experience in Internet technologies and portal concepts is preferred - Industry certifications desirable (i.e. CCEA, MCSE, CCSP) - Bachelor of Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience - 3 to 5 years IT industry experience - Fluency in English - written and spoken - Effective communicator at all levels - Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills - Technology infrastructure visualization - Initiative and drive, problem solving and decision making - Self-starter, independent thinker within a ?team? environment - Objective focused drive to success
