Project Engineer (solaris migration, network)

· Migrate communication protocol such as IBM SNA LU0 and LU2 , X.25, BISYNC to TCP/IP protocols.
· The engineer is expected to communicate to client, arrange the schedule, test the configuration before activation and monitor for at least one week.
· Testing of new release in the lab before rollout. Document the new configuration, installation and upgrade.
· Develop script and test the scripts which will be used in the installation and upgrades.
· Upgrade of Qunix to Solaris 10
· Develop documentation
· Quarterly update on training material to the staff.
· Perform remote support
· 2nd level Support on rollouts, Solaris upgrade and Network issues.
· After office hour remote standby support
· Regular operation review and reporting according to the stipulated timing
· Occasionally, required to perform night shift as required by the operation.
· Meeting Project SLA.
