SAP Business Analyst (Manufacturing)

OBJECTIVE
The role is a member of a team that oversees SAP Manufacturing-related functional and technical support/development tasks that not only spans SDLC but also focuses on customer relationships, requirements assessment, solution design, development and testing within the Group’s ERP, EP, BI and other relevant reporting systems.
DIMENSION
- Excellent knowledge and familiarity with functional technologies SAP MANUFACTURING.
- A high degree of problem solving, and technical skill is mandatory.
- Excellent assessment, design, and development capabilities applicable to tasks ranging from simple business processes to architecting and developing sophisticated systems and areas of functionality.
- Ability to effectively liaise with internal customers at all levels within the organisation, and, in some cases, may be required to deal with external parties including development organisations and specialist consultants.
SKILL requirements
1. Extensive background and experience in the delivery of SAP Manufacturing-related (RICEFW) support and development solutions, inclusive of, but not limited to the following, within specified SLA’s:
- Modules in scope are: MM, PP, WM, PM, QM & APO (legacy system: Prophit)
- Cross-functional areas integration with SD, LE, FI, CO, etc...
- End to end coverage of the above modules for both existing BAU functionalities and to be developed solutions.
- Support activities to include software application investigation and analysis, corrective actions at a system administrator level, configuration and master data updates, bug fix and code change validation testing, root cause analysis documentation, and resolution planning.
- Project activities to include the ability to define systems strategy, capture and develop Business systems requirements, design/prototype/demonstrate, ensure comprehensive unit and user-acceptance testing, train, define support procedures, and implement varied business solutions under multiple deadlines.
- Understanding and ability to provide functional specifications for the development and support of SAP Manufacturing-related integration/interfaces to a variety of legacy and third-party applications to SAP, as per the relevant method required.
- Familiarity and ability to comprehensively support the bar-coding system (Teklogix, Honeywell and Intermec-based scanning device).
