Engagement Manager (IT Systems Certification)
Reports to Snr Project Portfolio Manager, The Engagement Manager is responsible for the Airline Engagement and Certification workstream within Borders Management System Projects in the Asia Pacific region. This involves end-to-end management of airlines, host providers and internal partners with the objective of certifying airlines for these (APP/PNR) systems and putting those airlines into Production.
- Single Point of Contact for Airline Engagement for Project Manager, airlines/host providers and customer
- Assisting airlines / host providers through the certification testing period so that airlines are certified expediently
- Preparing and distributing engagement material such as mandate, SIF, technical bulletin, Operations Guide
- Preparing and agreeing certification test plan and cases in conjunction with PSE-Test, taking into account requirements of the customer and the project
- Preparing workshop material and presenting at workshops advising customer and airlines their responsibilities
- Following standard AEM process and using tools as defined by AEM team, including forecasting and recording airline status
- Setting requirements for and managing the set-up of certification environments
- Preparing CAB requests for configuring airlines on the GG QA and Prod tiers
- Preparing Carrier Portal training material for airlines/ground handlers and providing training in workshops or remotely
- Preparing plans for prioritization of airlines according to project requirements
- Regular and ad-hoc reporting on progress to Project Manager and customer

Travel:
- There will be up to 50% travel required to the customer site in the Asia-Pacific region for workshops / presentations to airlines / ground handlers, and for meetings with the customer
Education and Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or technical equivalent
- Formal project management training
- Experience At least 5 years or more of Project Management experience in a commercial environment
- experience in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of products and underlying technologies an advantage.
- Experience working with airline systems is an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong knowledge and understanding of IT and specifically the ATI industry and economic drivers.
- Advanced user of MS Office applications, and collaboration tools (sharepoint).
- Very competent in MS Project and/or other project management tools.
- Fluent in verbal and written English
