Cargotec Business Services (CBS) was established in 2017 with Sofia as the main global hub and two regional hubs in the United States and Singapore. Its aim is to optimize the global business support processes of Cargotec within Finance, Human Resources and Indirect Procurement. Join us for a smarter and better everyday We are looking for an Accountant, Record to Report to join the team and be responsible for support accounting services for selected processes and countries, which include accounting for and coordination of month-end general ledger close, prepare balance sheet reconciliations. The location of the position is Singapore, CBS APAC Hub. Main Tasks And Responsibilities Provide support for roles in the area of Record-to Report Acts as primary point of contact for selected partners and/or processes Responsible for financial reporting operational activities Participate in process improvement projects Participate/lead cross trainings of junior associates and new team members Follow internal control procedures and all accounting policies in accordance with CAS and internal control framework The role has controlling and reporting responsibilities over all processes in the end-to-end accounting: OTC, ITP, HR activities, and how they are reflected and accounted for in the books. The role executes ongoing control over the accounting activities in the respective ledger, for which it is responsible. Ideally You Have What you’ll need to succeed: Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics is taken as an advantage 1-4 years (or more) of relevant experience in finance operations Process knowledge on the respective process domain Strong team player Problem solving attitude Ability to demonstrate analytical skills Good interpersonal & communication skills Experience with simple to complex query handling Proficiency in applications including Google Suite and Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUP, Charts), Powerpoint and process mapping tools SAP/ERP system experience Taking initiative in a proactive manner to improve own and team work practices Full professional proficiency of written and oral English required.
