Team Summary Job Description The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) team at Visa acts as a trusted advisor and business partner to members of the Asia Pacific Leadership Team and operates as the expert on people and organizational issues. We are a team of commercially focused individuals that translate business objectives to talent priorities. We are comfortable navigating challenging forces in the dynamic payments space and are able to operate in a fast-paced environment with significant change. We work hand-in-hand with our COEs and internal counterparts for successful planning and delivery of HR programs and services to the business. What a HRBP Does At Visa HR Business Partners work with teams, managers and key stakeholders to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organization. This includes, but is not limited to, working closely with COEs partners and business leaders to deliver customised and forward-looking solutions and programs to solve business issues. providing guidance and input on organizational design for a particular business unit working with leadership to conduct talent reviews, create succession plans and customize development plans for key talent Managing complex and difficult projects and take a consultative approach and act as a key advisor to the leadership team. offering performance management and coaching to leaders and employees alike partner with finance and leadership to develop and maintain workforce planning Responsibilities Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leadership focused on a transformational talent agenda designed to attract, develop and retain the best talent in the industry Understand business strategies and how to develop high impact human capital solutions Have a data driven mindset to assess organizational metrics and provide insights to the business Consistently measure effectiveness of HR initiatives and programs to ensure they are delivering desired outcomes Lead the human resources organization within client groups to develop and execute initiatives to become an Employer of Choice in the Technology industry. Provide daily support to managers with employee attraction, development, and retention issues which may include: Annual reviews Leadership coaching Career pathing Advanced HR reporting and metrics Special project assistance Closely partners with HR Centers of Excellences and other HRBPs to deliver superior results to the business Serve as a role model and thought leader on Human Capital issues and coaches other HRBPs in their development Qualifications What you will need: Bachelor’s degree is required. An MBA or master’s degree, in a related field, is preferred 10 plus years of experience in an innovative business. Preference for experience in the Technology industry working in progressive HR models Experience designing and delivering programs in the following areas: Workforce Planning Talent Management Change Management Leadership Development Employee Engagement Cultural Change Organizational Design Experience in working effectively across all levels of an organization Ability to manage medium to enterprise-wide projects/initiatives with minimal supervision Hands on approach willing to roll up sleeves to deliver results Successful implementation of operational and strategic programs and processes across a dispersed region Ability to assess an organization, identify gaps, and develop solutions Possess strong influencing and interpersonal skills, honed in a demanding and high performing work environment Have executive presence and strong communication skills to partner with senior levels of management Strong collaboration skills within and outside of HR Critical Competencies for Success Business Acumen: Knowledgeable about key business issues and the capability to apply that knowledge to develop effective people strategy Strong Intellect/Problem solver: Bright individual, with ability to combine analytical reasoning, creativity and judgment.
