Purpose And Main Responsibilities Of The Position As HR Manager for Global Services Division (GSD) in MacGregor, you will be responsible for developing and promoting the overall global HR agenda in APAC and Middle East in close cooperation with the HR Director and the global HR team. Your most important duties include enabling GSD managers to perform in HR related matters, and ensuring their leadership is in line with MacGregor HR strategies and policies. You would engage in creating aculture of team work in the region, in building a performace culture, and in enabling good cooperation both in the regional management and in the full organisation. You will be reposible for bringing the organisation specific needs and views to the GSD HR director and the GSD HR team to discuss, for providing feedback and information from your organisations for our HR plan and objectives, and active communication on HR related topics in different media. This role will be based in Singapore. The main responsiblities for you in this role will be: Provide day-to-day support and coaching to managers in key HR processes: leadership, organisation, change management, employment issues, recruitment Consult and advise line management on HR implications and implementation of HR strategies and policies. Act as change agent to enable the organization to thrive through periods of change, e.g. acquisition, internal growth, restructurings. Support managers in workforce planning, aligned with strategy and resource needs. Support and coache managers in building and maintaining an impactful talent pipeline Enable the managers to develop and enhance their personal leadership. What You’ll Need To Succeed To succeed in this role you need an academic degree in a suitable area, and minimum eight years of HR experience in a global organisation. Our ideal candidate will also have experience of global reorganisation and restructuring processes, and exprience and success in coaching leaders for better performance and cooperation. We also consider prior experience in a maritime environment an advantage. The competences and skills we appreciate: Business acumen: Ability to apply expert knowledge of HR programs, policies, and practices to develop programs that support the organisation needs; understanding of business priorities and the impact that they have on HR agenda – and vice versa; and ability to work in a global matrix organization. Communication/Negotiation: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, ability to provide clear guidance to line management and team members regarding implementation and development of HR programs, and ability to influence different stakeholders. Problem Solving: Ability to analyze HR related issues and needs, develop innovative solutions to meet these needs/address these issues, as well as assess the business impact of these solutions. Leadership: Ability to proactively identify and take forward issues and opportunities and take responsibility for tasks and decisions, as well as coach and support managers.
