IT Security Auditor cum Cyber Security Engineer at BMW Group Asia

Job Description

We are currently expanding our regional function for CYBER SECURITY in Singapore, designed to support our internal IT teams in the region to deliver premium IT services to our internal business functions. This role is responsible for cyber security activities for the Asia Pacific, South Africa, Russia and Middle East regions. It includes conducting frequent internal auditing pertaining fulfillment of cyber security requirements of the Group as well as local legislation of respective markets. In addition, this role performs efficient mitigation of open findings resulted from the audits with the help of market IT feature teams. The implementation of security solutions is a crucial part of the day-to-day activities. Task and Accountability: - Analyze security requirements and fulfillment level in markets covering full range of applications and systems; - Design and implement solutions to fulfill cyber security requirements related to BMW Group IT Security Policy as well as local legislative expectations; - Closely work with auditors and regional Audit Management to find and implement measures that mitigate the risk; - Develop efficient process to continuously audit organization and systems and conduct security assessments including performing counter measures and reduce overall risk exposure; - Design and implement innovative security solutions to save cost and scale implementation across region with minimal effort. Talent, Experience and Qualifications: - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Security, or a related field. - Minimum of 8 years' experience in security management or similar. - Excellent technical skills for building security architecture and solutions aligned with the business's requirements. - Strong computer coding and endpoint security skills. - Great communication skills with focus on remote matrix organizations. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. - A highly logical, honest, professional and objective nature. - Good teamwork and time management skills.
