We are growing and we're looking for talents to come onboard our Technology team as a Business Intelligence Lead based in Singapore. Mission: Your mission is to build a world class data platform and business intelligence capability. The role will require you to be able to distill, document and evangelise MoneySmart's data platform vision; to coordinate between the technical and commercial side of business on business intelligence requirements and discussions; to use data to provide insight into strategic goals; and that you know how to get things done in an agile and fast paced environment. In a Nutshell Distill, document and evangelise a vision for MoneySmart's data platform and business intelligence capability Develop and implement short, mid and long term product roadmaps within the context of delivering MoneySmart's data platform and business intelligence capability Lead continuous planning activities and engage in the development of data product strategies Lead ideation, development, launch, and iteration of approaches to improve data literacy, adoption, analytics, insights and user personalisation for our site across desktop, mobile and apps Influence stakeholders through constant evangelism to build cross-functional buy-in and commitment to a shared vision Keep an ear out to our users through social networks, conversations with our sales team, events and face-to-face to continuously make improvements, get new ideas and get a better understanding of our consumers. Manage the entire product lifecycle, from identifying business needs, planning the business case to creating capabilities and services that are valuable, usable and feasible. Take the initiative for delivering communications and conducting regular brainstorming across the organisation on data platform and business intelligence features, performance; acting as liaison for training needs as emerging capabilities are launched. Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure that data definitions, taxonomies and technical logic specifications align with business requirements. Perform data extractions and provide recommendations on data models and dashboards. Perform data profiling and come up with recommendations; report data quality issues. Build and improve automated workflows and data checks to provide smooth running, data integrity, and accurate reporting; ensure consistency of information across reports. Perform routine maintenance to ensure stability and performance of systems and data delivery on time. Analyze production problems and realize and recommend data correction. Competencies Strong analytical, business, project management, and organizational skills Exceptional influencing skills Self-motivated, positive-thinking, team player, leader, problem-solver Entrepreneurial and commercially minded, highly creative, and able to innovate quickly Passion for data, testing, and building a world-class customer experience Basic data modeling, JSON, XML, working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases. SQL, REST APIs, processing data using Python, etc. Experience with various analytics tools, and business intelligence tools. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to other key stakeholders, including partners and customers Passion for developing and nurturing people Requirements BA/BS degree, MBA preferred 8+ years product management experience 3+ years people leadership experience Deep knowledge of data platform design and usability Experience in BI skills and creating metabase dashboards Experience in writing complex SQL for data analysis Understanding of SEA online/ mobile financial product comparison market and competitive landscape Expert in scrum and agile processes Expert in product development tools (i.e Target Process, ProductPlan, Confluence) preferred Cultural Pillars Be a Positive Team Player Take Ownership Bias for Action Take Charge of your Professional Development Show more
